WDSE-PBSEight Selects ProTrack TV


NORTHAMPTON, MA - January 14, 2008 - PBS member station WDSE-Eight has chosen ProTrack TV as their next-generation software solution for broadcast management and operations.

According to Rex Greenwell, Director of Engineering & Operations at WDSE-TV / DT, "ProTrack's flexibility, scalability, multi-streaming capabilities, reputation and online features to import program metadata data where the decisive attributes that determined our decision to partner with Myers Information Systems, Inc."

WDSE-PBSEight is a community owned educational television station in Duluth, Minnesota, serving portions of Minnesota and Wisconsin as a PBS member station on channel 8 and digital channel 38. Although not a University owned station, studios are located on campus at the University of Minnesota-Duluth. Along with programming from PBS, locally produced programs such as Minnesota Legislative Report, WDSE Cooks, Almanac North, Venture North and Doctors on Call are area favorites included in the broadcast schedule. WDSE-Eight is a member station of the Minnesota Public Television Association - MPTA, and an affiliate of the Wisconsin Public Television -WPT network.
