Training Overview

Myers Information Systems, Inc. offers a number of training options so that we can accommodate various learning styles, knowledge levels, schedules and budget parameters. Training is similar to, but separate from Support, which is designed to give a quick response to top-line questions. Training sessions provide valuable information for both new and experienced users. Regardless of the method, formal training sessions will:

  • Assist new users in developing good workflow habits early
  • Enable users to implement efficient software techniques
  • Facilitate the use of user-defined features
  • Provide insight to other uses of the software (system integration, reporting, export capabilities etc.)

Customer Portal:

  • Utilization of the customer portal is ideal for important all-purpose tutorials
  • Frequently asked questions, video tutorials, release notes and important documents are provided
  • Cost: Complimentary as part of your ProTrack Support Agreement

Online:

  • Schedule a focused training session at your convenience. Sessions can be scheduled in 30 minute increments and will target specific areas in ProTrack you want to explore.
  • You tell us the topics you need covered, and we’ll arrange for a skilled trainer to guide you as you work on your computer or watch the trainer's computer. Sessions are customized, interactive and linked via GoToMeeting™ so that you and your trainer can work together on the same product screens.

Onsite:

  • If your staff requires more focused and comprehensive instruction, you can arrange to bring a trainer from Myers Information Systems, Inc. to your media facility for a two-day to multi-week session
  • On-site training provides maximum flexibility for cross-departmental/discipline training. Sessions are tailored to accommodate specific needs and staff schedules.
    At MIS:
  • Send your staff to our office in Northampton, MA. The historic city of Northampton is situated between the peaceful Connecticut River Valley and majestic foothills of the Berkshire Mountains. We are 37 miles north of Bradley International Airport and 105 miles west of Boston Logan International Airport.
  • Our fully resourced training room provides an efficient, comfortable setting for exploring features, functionality and reporting tools - allowing you to get away from office interruptions so that you can focus your full attention on learning to use ProTrack.
