WGTE Public Broadcasting Incorporates ProTrack Radio

NORTHAMPTON, MA - October 31, 2007 - We are extremely pleased to announce that WGTE Public Broadcasting in Toledo, OH has decided to expand their use of ProTrack by incorporating ProTrack Radio to their existing ProTrack TV platform. With the addition of ProTrack Radio, WGTE has now unified their broadcast operations by employing our comprehensive ProTrack broadcast management solution.

Not only will WGTE experience a multitude of efficiencies by deploying a unified system, their radio operations can now more easily adapt to the industry's rapidly evolving technologies by taking advantage of our non-linear workflow structure and advanced third-party integration capabilities. From program scheduling to underwriting management, WGTE FM can now focus more resources on enhancement strategies than on performing redundant tasks. By way of features such as template scheduling spot placement reshuffling, WGTE FM has access to the most modern workflow techniques from schedule creation to air to interfacing with their Enco DAD automation system.

Since the sales department is the "hinge" that holds the TV and Radio operations together, WGTE's development teams can now take advantage of the cross-platform transparency to more efficiently/effictively manage their assets and maximize revenue opportunities in today's multi-media environment (i.e., radio, TV, web, print, etc.).

For more than 50 years, WGTE Public Broadcasting has offered a unique blend of high quality television and radio programming designed to entertain, educate and enrich. Along with broadcasting national PBS and NPR favorites, WGTE takes pride in its role as community historian and storyteller by producing exceptional local programming for TV 30 and FM 91. A trusted community resource, WGTE broadcasts 24-hours a day, seven days a week. Their primary coverage area includes 26 counties in Northwest and West Central Ohio and Southeast Michigan. Currently, they have an audience of more than 425,000 television viewers and 75,000 radio listeners.
