Prairie Public Broadcasting Adopts ProTrack TV

NORTHAMPTON, MA - March, 25, 2009 - Prairie Public Broadcasting, headquartered in Fargo, North Dakota, has successfully implemented ProTrack TV. The statewide network is now set to make full use of their digital spectrum with our ProTrack Multicasting module and take better advantage of their automation environment with our bidirectional integration capabilities with Sundance Digital.

Jim Connors, Director of Technical Support and Training who oversaw the transition in Fargo, was pleased to have worked with a motivated and talented core of individuals from multiple departments. "The staff is eager to use ProTrack TV to streamline their operations," said Jim Connors, "They now have overall metadata control, including the ability to track content rights and repurpose program metadata across multiple digital channels. They are also pleased to have the ProLink data tightly integrated into ProTrack for scheduling and reference."

Prairie Public Broadcasting is now taking advantage of our exclusive ProLink Service which features an extensive library of more than 120,000 program offers. Daily ProLink updates are sent via the Internet and allow the staff to select the "offers" and "series" they wish to download. Once imported into ProTrack, the staff can repurpose their selected program data to populate their PSIP schedules and monthly membership magazine production, without having to re-enter all of the program information. The station is also simplifying their web publishing needs with our turnkey ProWeb module, which gives Prairie Public the ability to export accurate and timely information for their broadcast spectrum directly to their website. With the transition completed, Myers Information Systems has delivered a wide array of customized, cost-effective solutions that benefit not only Prairie Public Broadcasting, but the station's audience as well.
