ResearchChannel Utilizes ProLink for Data Distribution
NORTHAMPTON,

Systems, Inc.'s exclusive ProLink data distribution service to simplify and
streamline its sharing capabilities of schedule information and related program
metadata with retransmitters.
Retransmitters
can take advantage of ResearchChannel's free, easily accessible and
high-quality content by choosing four-hour blocks of programming or taking
advantage of their 24/7 broadcast signal. And now, via the utilization of
ProLink, over 180 public television stations and universities throughout the country
can download the ResearchChannel's schedule information and related program
metadata into their ProTrack database for a variety of repurposing needs (i.e.,
web schedules, PSIP requirements, program guides, development efforts, etc.)

ResearchChannel

metadata with KWSU at Washington State University,
which retransmits ResearchChannel over KWSU-DT 10.2 in Pullman, WA.
ProLink enables KWSU to populate its program guides without
re-entering all of the program information. ProLink provides program metadata
that can be downloaded directly into the ProTrack database.
ResearchChannel
