WNED Selects ProLink Service For ThinkBright TV
NORTHAMPTON, MA and BUFFALO, NY - June 20, 2007 - WNED has chosen Myers Information Systems, Inc. to be the program schedule and data distribution platform for the ThinkBright TV New York State (NYS) Distribution Network. Our exclusive ProLinkTM Service will allow WNED to distribute their ThinkBright TV schedule and related program metadata to the entire network of New York State Public Media affiliates. In addition, ProTrack will enable the NYS affiliates to exchange program metadata, facilitating collaboration throughout the network.
Participating NYS Public Media Stations include:
- WSKG - Binghamton
- WCFE - Plattsburg
- WXXI - Rochester
- WCNY - Syracuse
- WMHT - Troy
- WPBS - Watertown
- WNET/WLIW - New York
Member supported WNED serves a bi-national region of 3.1 million households across Western New York and Southern Ontario. Since 1998, WNED has utilized ProTrack TV as their broadcast management software solution and operational foundation. We are honored to play a continuing and expanding role in their mission to develop content on multiple platforms for local, regional, national and international audiences.
