BXF Implementation with ProTrack
In 2004, a
committee called SMPTE-2021 was formed which was comprised of leading traffic software, program
management and automation vendors. The primary
objective of SMPTE-2021 was to collaborate on ways to improve broadcast
workflow by implementing a flexible

Director of Software Development at Myers Information Systems, Inc. is an
active member of SMPTE-2021 and spearheaded the implementation of BXF between
ProTrack TV and Crispin Automation at WGCU in Southwest Florida in March of
2007.
Since then,
Myers Information Systems, Inc. has implemented the BXF messaging system with
other automation vendors including Pro-Bel for WCVE in Central Virginia in
January, 2008 and more recently with Sundance Digital at WJCT in Jacksonville,
Florida in June, 2008.
