Western Reserve Public Media Adopts MIS BackUP
NORTHAMPTON, MA - April 29, 2009 - Western Reserve Public Media has implemented MIS
BackUP, our new disaster recovery service. This solution provides automated
daily, weekly and monthly back-ups of the ProTrack database and custom
programming/settings. Back-ups are monitored by our technical support team at
Myers Information Systems and periodically tested for restore reliability.
"Providing stations with a unique solution that not only backs up their data, but also provides a firm and reliable means of remote data restoration is critical to the continued workflows of our clients," explains Jim Connors, Director of Technical Support and Training.
With MIS Backup the Western Reserve Public Media team can remain confident that their data will be securely restored in a time of crisis. If the station's ProTrack server is not viable for restoration, MIS will provide hosting services through remote access for until their local hardware and networking are re-established.MIS BackUP also has the ability to provide fundamental automation integration that will keep the station's services moving forward, allowing Western Reserve Public Media to focus on the needs of their clients when they need it most.
